On March 1, 2011, the mark Women's History Month, Elizabeth Taylor was not on the minds of the masses.  But just weeks into the month of celebrating the lives of extraordinary women, the world dutifully followed the life of the legendary icon. On March 24th, Elizabeth Taylor was laid to rest, just 1 day after her passing. The ever so glamorous actress, philanthropist and successful businesswoman died on March 23rd from congestive heart failure. Her exit was just as captivating as her entrance: she arrived 15 minutes fashionably late to her final celebration, by design.  As we near the end of Women's History Month, let us also remember that heart disease is the No. Killer of women. Know your risks and remember that heart disease affects the most glamorous of us all.  For more information, please visit the American Heart Association website and/or www.redheartglamour.org.
